 Our cabins are genuine log homes -- your home away from home. Each cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a loft. The Blue Moon has 2 singles in the loft and Harvest Moon has a double. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the great room. So they will sleep three strangers, or six people who know and like each other -- a lot! There is a full size washer and dryer -- so you can wash more than two towels at a time or the linens that are supplied with the cabins. The great room has a heavy timber vaulted ceiling and spectacular views of the Helton Creek valley. Your heat is from a real wood burning stove (don't worry, there's a gas heater too!) TV -- not so long ago, there wasn't even electricity in the High Country, and there's just no TV up here that compares to the view off of the front porch. Count the fireflies or watch the hummingbirds fight over the feeders. We do offer high speed DSL service, so if you just have to check the email, no problem. And we do provide a TV and DVD player to watch movies. You can cook the trout you caught on the gas grill on the deck. Serve it with a fresh tomato or some sugar snap peas from our farm. After dinner, relax in the hot tub and watch the Milky Way appear in the evening sky. We supply everything you need paper towels, toilet paper, linens, detergent, and bonfires on cold nights. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. Come visit us as we will be offering specials for the next several months. |
